Go Forth – Levi’s Campaign in Belgrade

Šta se dobija kada povežete jedan od najpopularnijih i najstarijih jeans brendova i želju za podizanjem svesti o važnosti očuvanja čovekove sredine? Odgovor je: kampanja Go Forth, iza koje stoji brend Levi’s, sa ciljem ukazivanja na problem nedostatka vodnih zaliha na globalnom nivou. Naime, slabo je poznato da je za izradu samo jednog para farmerica potrebno od 42 do 48 litara vode. Ako uzmemo u obzir činjenicu da su vodni resursi naše planete već sada debelo ugroženi, možemo samo da aplaudiramo Levi’s-u. Ne samo na plasiranju nove linije Waterless farmerica za čiju je izradu potrebno tek 5 litara vode, već i za skretanje pažnje na probleme koji se tiču svih nas, bez izuzetaka.
Ciljevi i forme kampanje juče su predstavljeni i domaćoj publici, u kafeu Kandahar. Nakon prezentacije svi prisutni su imali mogućnost da se malo igraju bojama, sprejevima, flomasterima i šljokicama i sami stvore svoj Levi’s logo. Kako sam i sama ”zeleno” opredeljena sa zadovoljstvom sam se odazvala pozivu divne Ane, inače jedne od organizatorki, i bila deo ovog simpatičnog događaja. Naravno, tu su i fotkice, ne bih li vam prenela delić atmosfere. Do idućeg posta veliki pozdrav i poljubac za sve! I ne zaboravite: mislite ”zeleno”! Vaša B.
What do we get when we connect one of the most popular and oldest brands of jeans and a desire to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment? The answer is: Go Forth campaign, backed by the brand Levi’s, with the aim of addressing the problem of lack of water supplies on a global scale. In fact, it’s no well known that the development of only one pair of jeans takes from 42 to 48 liters of water. If we take into account the fact that water resources of our planet is already threatened, we can only applaud to Levi’s. Not only for the new Waterless line jeans for whose creation takes only 5 liters of water, but also to draw attention  to the problems, which concern us all, without exception.
The objectives and forms of the campaign were presented yesterday to the Belgrade audience, in the cafe Kandahar.  After the presentation, all present had the opportunity to play with paints, sprays, glitter and markers and form their own Levi’s logo. As I am ”green colored”  I with pleasure accepted the invitation by lovely Anna, who is one of the organizers, and was part of this friendly event. Until next post a greeting and a kiss for all!
